The Ministry of Economy and Trade jointly with the Agency for Public Property announces that the next round of auctioning at the Stock Exchange will take place on 22 September 2008. Placed for auctioning will be holdings in single lots for a number of joint stock companies of special importance for the economy of the Republic of Moldova, such as: 

• S.A. “Tutun - CTC”, state holding – 90,81%, at price – 300,0 mil. lei;
• S.A. “Magazinul Universal Central “Unic”, state holding – 82,29 %, at price – 300,0 mil. lei;
• S.A. “Sigma”, state holding – 71,67%”, at price – 35,0 mil. lei;
• S.A. “Zorile”, state holding – 60,26%, at price – 44,0 mil. lei;
• S.A. “Micron”, state holding – 72,11%, at price -13,0 mil. lei;
• S.A. „Floare - Carpet”, state holding – 59, 49%, at price – 72,5 mil. lei;
• S.A. „Introscop”, state holding – 60,17, at price – 32,0 mil. lei. 

Movable values owned by the state in joint stock companies will be exposed for privatization in compliance with the provisions set forth by the Law No. 121-XVI dated 4 May 2007 on administration and destatization of the public property, Government Decision No. 945 of 20 August 2007, pursuant to procedures set forth by the Regulation for selling public property February 2008 and rules of the Stock Exchange.

To that end, we are herby coming up with this message for all of the potential investors, both domestic and foreign that the auctioning of the aforementioned will be organized on the principles of legality, competitiveness, accessibility and maximum transparency.
